We went to the Botanic Gardens and we made adobe bricks. Four of our boys have qualified for the long jump and high jump finals and some of the girls are also in the finals. On Monday it was Labour day so we had a day off. Today it's Halloween and everyone is very excited! We did lots of Maori today. We are learning about the names for classroom objects e.g. papatuhituhi is whiteboard, pene is pen, pene rakau is pencil. Today at Science the kids made fingerprints.
Charlotte's Enviro Update:
This month is Kiwi Awareness month. We all got a link to a kiwi for kiwis video. We are having a competition to see who can build a predator trap or draw a predator trap. The prize is to visit the farm where the kiwis are released. You get to hold kiwis and change the transmitters. Both our school kiwis that were release there.
