Week 8- Carlotta and Olivia
This week we learnt two new songs, called 'Nga iwi e' and one about animals called 'Ka tangi te kuri'. Next week it is our assembly''yay''.We had swimming sports and our relay team won. Great swimming Nina, Hopper, Ruby and Tate. We did Maori in writing and reading. We had to draw some animals and then write the sound that they make in Maori. Some people posted them on our blog. Today it was 'Go Spotty' day and we dressed in spots to raise money for Melanoma research. Next week we are going on a trip to see a market garden and a pack house. We had to follow some instructions to make pop up cards.

Meadowbank Meals
Here is our example of a cooking show. It took us about an hour and a half to to all the cooking, filming and editing. It was heaps of fun (see the bloopers).
Let us know what you think!
The Year 4 Teachers
Week 7- Whole Class
This week was our last week of swimming and next week we will compete in the Year 4 Swimming Sports. Next week we will have a polka dot mufti day to support a melanoma charity. We published our menus for our meals. They will be displayed on our writing blog when they are all done. We did some drama this week and we played chirades. We got new headphones and we have to be super careful with them.
Final day of swimming
What have you learnt or improved during swimming this year? Are you ready for swimming sports on Thursday? Looking forward to seeing Room 23 racing in the pool.
